Clover Counseling Services was created in 2024, and believe it or not, one of the first spaces we utilized for therapy was a local park/playground. We got creative around a child’s need for exposure therapy and used resources to support children while looking for the perfect space.
September 2024, Clover Counseling opened its first office in the Wadsworth Schoolhouse building, located at 130 Centre Street Danvers Massachusetts. Owner Jenelle Walsh was looking for a space that would support parents, kids, and adults alike. Important to her was the lobby space. Close enough for a child to feel comfortable leaving their parent, cozy and comfortable to wait around in, and far enough away from the office space for privacy.

Clover’s first space was inspired around a beautiful butterfly canvas, which represents some of the symbols that many use for loved ones that have passed, including the owner herself. - The green and netural tones of the space make for a very calm and living room vibe spot to share your thoughts and feelings.
Fun Fact: the couches are very meaningful in both spaces - many therapeutic chats in friends and family living rooms before moving into the Clover Counseling Spaces.
The first space was slowly closing in with creative art canvas’s paintings from clients, board games, and soccer balls! The vision for a kid friendly zone was always the dream goal!
In January 2026, the adjacent office vacated and left an opportunity to open up the second kid friendly office in February 2026. - We are thrilled to have a sensory friendly, fun, vibrant office, with chalk boards, bean bag chairs, games, yoga mats, doll house, and never ending painting supplies!
We are so fortunate to be able to have therapist that love to play and want to provide the best enviorments for kids to learn and express their feelings. These same spaces offer relaxing calm vibes with toys tucked away when kids are not using them.
The Wadsworth Center is rooted in history in Danvers, Massachusetts. The building used to be a local elementary school for younger grades. Many visitors have come into the space and have fond memories of attending grade school in the building. Our spaces were the classroom of Ms. Armstrong according to one of our maitenence workers on the property. We are so honored to provide support, psychoeducation, and skills to children and families in a place that provided so much learning for decades.
